Hi y’all! My name is Elliott Douglass. I am 37 and a nurse during the daylight and a hunter at twilight. Born and raised in Tennessee, I began loving the outdoors as a very young child. My grandparents had a large farm in West Tennessee and
any time I could, I would be down there help out my Granddaddy. I learned to drive a farm truck before I could see over the steering wheel, and I learned to hunt before I could hold a shotgun. I have been fishing, in lakes and in the deep sea, rode horses in shows, kayaked many whitewater rapids, certified in scuba diving, backpacked along the Appalachian Trail, but it was only in that three years ago when I picked up a bow and let the arrow glide out of its rest, that the hunters fire truly ignited. I have gone on some amazing hunts so far and am blessed to meet some incredible people along the way. I am a bow hunter by nature, but love my rifle, shotgun, and handguns just as much.
It is so exciting to me to see more women hunters today than ever. With that said, it is my passion to serve as a good role model for other women from the newly interested and starting out, to the experienced and advanced hunter. We all learn from each other and are a family within this field. I am a free spirit who loves to have fun and can find the humor in just about anything. I have always said “if something weird is gonna happen, it will happen to me.” Well this statement proves true time and time again. This has taught me how to laugh at life and enjoy each moment, because it’s not only about a good clean shot, or the food you can put on the table, but it’s also about the stories that make you laugh and that you bring with you, because those stories are what make us who we are, those stories make us hunters.

My name is Stephanie Ferguson. I’m 36 and live in middle, Georgia. I’m a single mother of a wonderful and beautiful girl and in a long term relationship with my wonderful hunting partner. My day job is a sales representative for a beverage distributor.
I’ve grown up at either the “lake” or “deercamp”. I started hunting at the age of 12. In the last few years life has eased up some and I have finally been able to hunt as much as I want. I just recently started bow hunting and can’t wait to get my first bow harvest! I also love to hunt turkey, duck, rabbit, hog, coyote, and love to fish. I currently hunt with a Mossberg .270 (which I’m in love with) and my newest bow a diamond razor. I also just love being in the woods and playing in the mud!! I’m a country girl through and through.
My mission is to show other women how much fun and relaxing hunting can be. I would also like to get involved in GA Hunters for the Hungry. It’s my passion to give back to those who are struggling because I’ve been there before.

My name is Kim Ganey. I am a wife, mother, daughter, friend, nurse. That was me. In 2009, I bought a compound bow and began to pursue whitetail deer. One purchase changed the course of my life, a single decision changed my definition of self. It changed the way I view the world around me and the way I view my place in the world. I added hunter to the equation.
Since that time, I’ve been blessed to have hunted in some truly amazing places. Along the way I found a community of fellow hunters who are equally amazing- some of them have become mentors, most have become friends.
I’m loving this path I’ve come to walk. Each adventure brings new knowledge, new experiences. I learn something everytime I venture into the woods. Something about deer, the world around me and something about myself. I’m still such a novice in the hunting world and yet I can’t imagine my life without hunting in it. What did I do before? I truly can’t remember.
I’m thankful for the opportunites that I’ve had and l’m looking forward to the ones that lie ahead.

My name is Jeremy Hare, I am 33 and I live in Southern California. I have been married for 9 years and counting. My wife and myself have an amazing 2 ½ year old little girl. I enjoy spending as much time with h as possible with the joy of
my life. During the day I’m a sales representative for a medical device manufacturer. The rest of the time I am trying to fish and or hunt.
I grew up fishing for bass and catfish with my dad and grandpas at Lake Cachuma, Lake Skinner and Lake Silverwood. Once I Turned 8 I took a hunter safety course with my grandpa and the hunting began. We hunted mostly pheasant, quail, chukar, and of course waterfowl. I still have my Winchester Youth Ranger 20ga pump that I got for passing my hunter safety test and that’s the first gun my wife shot. Now my shotgun of choice in the field is a Remington 870 Wingmaster Magnum which gets the job done no matter where I am. Recently I started shooting a bow and have a Browning that has taken a wild pig here locally. That was a rush. I still love to fish and will be in the ocean most of the summer fishing for whatever is biting. Being in Southern California affords me some of the best ocean fishing around as well as some pretty good Upland Bird and Waterfowl hunting.
My goal is that I can spread the word of Hunting and Fishing to get more people involved in the outdoors. There is so much to do and so much to see in the outdoors when you are hunting or fishing that I hope others will get the bug like me.

My name is David Hoffman. I come from a non-hunting family but growing up on the edge of the Ocala National Forrest in Florida I always had interest in hunting.
At the age of 12 I asked my parents if Mr Hancock, a retired southern gentleman that I respected, could teach me how hunt. Mr. Hancock said to buy a gun so I got a single shot 12 gauge and that was the start of the love of hunting.
Currently l enjoy helping start the dreams of future hunters by being a Hunters Education Instructor. Another love of mine is my involvement as a committee member of the Wisconsin chapter of The Outdoor Adventure Foundation. A foundation that grants outdoor adventures to children with life threatening illness and combat related disabilities to veterans.

I am 23 year old Cass Via. My wife and I currently live in Arkansas. Growing up I hunted in Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and Kansas. I have been lucky enough to hunt just about every American
animal such as; elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, antelope, bear, coyotes, rabbits, pheasants, and waterfowl. Currently in Arkansas I hunt whitetail, hogs, and waterfowl.
Growing up I was lucky enough to have my dad, Cass Via, introduce me to my passion of hunting and the outdoors at an early age. Dad started me out rifle hunting then at 15 introduced me to bow hunting. Since picking up the bow I haven’t touched a rifle since. Other than my beautiful wife the outdoors and hunting is my love. Sitting in my stand before sunrise and watching the world wake up before me is a true joy.
